The V-Shaped Recovery In Japan’s Exports

Bloomberg Japan’s exports in January 2010 surged at the fastest pace in almost 30 years in January, supporting the nation’s economic recovery as falling wages damp demand at home. Exports grew 40.9% YOY, the biggest increase since February 1980, and were much stronger than the median estimate of 22 economists surveyed by Bloomberg, which was for exports to rise 39.5 percent.
